Kindergarten has been working on sequencing and finished up this unit with a field trip to Krispy Kreme here in Istanbul. I, along with three other mothers got to chaperon this trip. It was a lot of fun. Sonora has been looking forward to this field trip for a very long time. We loaded a service bus and headed down to the largest Krispy Kreme store in Istanbul, where they make the donuts. The kids got to see the process of donut making first hand and even got to decorate their own donut. They each got two donuts and a milk box. We had a great time! Here are some of the pictures.
Love the hats. Looks like Sonora did ok with the chocolate and sprinkles. What a fun, unique experience and something they can relate back to the states. Donuts are the best!
