Breakfast

On the weekends we usually have a little different breakfast.  Sometimes pancakes, or crepes or Turkish Breakfast complete with yummy breads like simit and poca.  We've been starting to eat our Turkish Breakfast Ottoman Style, on the floor.  Many places in Tukey, Turks still eat like this, rather than sitting at a table.  I'm finding it to be very common in my neighborhood.  We really enjoy it and the clean up is fairly easy.  After you clean off the plates and stuff you just shake all the crumbs out the window.  So, here we are enjoying a Turkish breakfast with olives and cheese, cucumbers and tomatos, boiled eggs and simit (seaseme seed covered bagel sort of bread) and of course tea.

  1. Aren't the weekends WONDERFUL???! Our weeks are so incredibly busy, but on the weekend, we try really hard to make NO plans - to sleep in, play video games, eat "funner" breakfasts, do crafts, play Polly Pockets, etc. Looks like a yummy breakfast you had!!!

  2. You'll like this so much it may be everyday. I love breakfast, especially when I can go out, which is never.
