Sickness

Last night after getting back from a trip Malachi threw up right in front of the apartment building's front door.  We thought it was car sickness but then just as we were in bed and drifting to sleep we heard him call for us and he had thrown up again.  In the last 24 hours he has puked about 7 or 8 times.  There is something signature about Malachi being sick.  When he is sick he is about the quietest docile little boy I know with absolutely NO energy.  He just lays in one spot without saying a peep.  It's quite pathetic really.  My heart just goes out to the little guy.  He was out of it all day and obviously missed school.  We'll see how he is in the morning.  The sweet thing is seeing how much Sonora went out of her way to help him out.  She went downstairs all on her own twice to bring him a drink of water.  And all throughout the day she was almost annoying him by giving him so many options of things he might want to do in her most important mothering voice.  Pretty cute.  We are ready to have our energetic talkative boy back.
